Today is the first major snowfall of the season in Northeast Ohio...
So far they’ve had to close I-90 in TWO DIFFERENT SPOTS 50 MILES FROM EACH OTHER..
One is closed at I-90 at the Ohio/Pennsylvania line because there is a 70 car accident in Pennsylvania just across the border...
Stupid drivers drive here
ANOTHER spot is just 50-ish miles west of the PA/OH line in Ohio, close to where I work, where they had to also close I-90 due to a 10-15 vehicle accident....
More stupid drivers drive here....
This is going to be one long ass winter....

So much better 40 miles south, where we can still see the grass.

Sorry man, I hate when drivers loose their collective shit over the weather.

I live 15 miles from work (Cleveland Eastside Suburb) and my wife said the grass is still green.. The grass out my work window is covered in snow right now.

I’m working east of Akron. I can see some flurries outside.
GF used to commute up to her job in the snow belt, but now works down here and doesn’t hate life as much.
We get enough snow here...I don’t need snow-belt quantities.

I still feel bad for all the people on westbound I-80 near Fremont, OH on 6/30/14.

We didn’t have any stick last night but we had snow fall here in southern Missouri and no one lost their shit.

Flurries in Independence, too. I won’t even have to scrape my car after work.

I’ve come to understand that the break between winters is a lot like summer break in school. What people have learned slowly slips away and it must be relearned over the course of a month or two.

If we get some good snow this year I’ll be posting pics. Might do some from the circle at lunch time or 5pm when things are insane.
